Goes Honestly, no. To still use VGA and with no Display Port, this would be hard to justify spending $150 on, for me. If it was a DVI port, one Display Port, and one HDMI, maybe. Honestly with the Specs I'm seeing it's barely above a Viewsonic of the same size that's $70 cheaper.

willfish116to be fair, that ViewSonic is not IPS, which changes the price significantly.

JamMastaJewThat's why I said the LG is above the ViewSonic in terms of specs but I couldn't justify myself spending $260 on a monitor that doesn't even have Display Port, which is still my preferred method of Freesync. I usually wait til right as the new model releases to buy a monitor, yes it's a year old monitor, but can get a decent spec monitor for a significant amount less. I got my LG 34" Ultrawide for $319 when I would have paid $699 before the newest model. Usually in February/March is when new models release.

willfish116Well you said "barely" better specs, and IPS is a significant spec. And I could be wrong, but I believe if the monitor's refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, displayport won't give any better performance than hdmi.
Edit: and to be fair to your point, IPS isn't really a gaming feature, more for video/image editing.

JamMastaJewYes but most graphics cards only come with one HDMI port. I was interested in this monitor as well until I noticed there was no display port.
