I bought one of these on Black Friday last year (for less than this). It's alright, but overall I am really unimpressed with the picture quality. It definitely does not have the viewing angles of an IPS, and nowhere near 178 degrees. The screen is so large that you actually start to see a color shift towards the edges when looking straight at it.

Yeah, I am aware.. I had a Dell VA in the past that wasn't nearly as bad

I misread your comment. My mistake
I think the listed dimensions and weight are flipped for with/without stand. (Or i just don't get it)

Unless it's changed since you posted that link, it's only cheaper if you're buying used. Lowest new price is $499.
VA panels are pretty crappy I recommend against them.

VA panels have their advantages and disadvantages. They have a quicker response time, much better contrast and black levels vs IPS. That bring said, colours and viewing angles generally aren't as good. Depending on your use case, a VA panel can be very well suited for your needs. TN is generally the only one you want to avoid, unless you are on a budget.
Make it $429 and I would be interested.
