Unfortunately these monitors have issues. They look really nice, very good picture quality, but they do not last. 3 out of 4 we purchased for our office developed a problem where the screen turns green and/or purple after a while. We sent them back to LG, they can't fix them, they don't have any stock on hand to replace them, but at least they sent us refund checks. There are similar reports on Amazon and B&H too. This is sad because there aren't any good choices out there for quality 32" 4K monitors and other brands you can buy most likely use the same LG panel, e.g. ViewSonic. Buyer beware.

Massno kidding. LG can't get their 4k monitors right, the previous gen 4k LG 31um97 monitor also tends to die due to poorly designed power system. Maybe their next gen nano ips 4k will fare better.

MassBenQ has a 32" (SW320) with Sharp panels. Not 95% P3 but 99% adobeRGB (just as wide, maybe a little more appropriate for photo editing)

bobkoureWe have one of these BenQ too, it's just OK, the text is a bit grainy, I suppose from the anti-glare coating. A ViewSonic VP3268-4K too, but from the looks of it, I suspect it uses the same LG panel.

AnzialWe've had 2 LG 31MU97-B bought in 2015-2016 and so far so good, true 4K, happy with them. I hope we can get a bit more use out of them. They are the reason for purchasing the 32UD99W, only to disappoint.

MassYou are lucky. Mine died after a year and a half of careful use. I discovered a lot of 31um97 users had the same happen to them.
