MiscoucheGuyWhether or not you notice a difference is up to you. When a statement is subjective, you simply cannot speak for everyone because it is subjective. I am actually considering purchasing this to replace my Acer predator z35p because with my i7@5ghz, 20gb RAM, and 1080ti, I simply cannot run some of the games I own at 2k on ultra settings above 100fps. Sure a lot of games aren't a problem, but a lot of the newer games are just too demanding for ultra settings at 2k. Also, this is an ultrawide IPS panel with Gsync, which is not common. Rarity drives up the price.
However the 144hz can be useful if you want a more fast pace experience in more competitive games at like 1080.
It's just nice to have the option of having both resolutions u know?
Why does every "Gaming Monitor" have to sport either a red and black color scheme with some weird angular design on the back or #2 modern silver themed casing that everyone and there brother have. Every other computer part or peripheral has all different forms and colors and lighting options it seems.
I love how these monitor makers try to hide the fact that the monitor is 1080P( have to scroll to the bottom of the specs to find it) . If it was 1440P it would be in the title of the listing/drop.
Mwahaha, Amazon sells this monitor for $10 less than MD. Grab while it's hot! Me thinks LG quietly reduced the price on the monitor while MD was listing this drop @Tarnixhttps://www.amazon.com/LG-34UC89G-B-34-Inch-21-UltraWide/dp/B0728JH3RQ
Can someone tell me if there's any real reason to buy it at MD right now? When you can buy pretty much anywhere else with immediate shipping for the same money or even less than what MD offers it at (which is the current official LG MSRP)
@B.Hutch you might wanna renegotiate the pricing with your vendor lol. Get it down the magical $750 or so, should be in the realm of possibility now that the official MSRP is $900.
I would also strongly suggest allowing international shipping for monitors again, even at inflated shipping price you might be surprised how many people might bite. But we both know you are not going to do that since that's not the real reason why you removed the international shipping option for monitors.
