CatskyThat explains the price difference. Gsync adds a lot to monitors pricing.

Korpse223Yeah that makes sense, but if you have a AMD card then you get a WAY better deal because you save 100$ plus you get upgraded to 2K resolution.

CatskyIf you have an AMD card, the monitor you posted would make more sense, no doubt! The monitor for sale here was tailored for Nvidia users because of Gsync. So you are correct, but why are we talking about freesync vs Gsync?

MiscoucheGuyG-Sync, the module itself can be as much as $500 man...plus another 66Hz refresh is critical.

DanielNS84I dont think you notice too much of a difference above 100, and given it is 1080p for that price no way.

MiscoucheGuyWhether or not you notice a difference is up to you. When a statement is subjective, you simply cannot speak for everyone because it is subjective. I am actually considering purchasing this to replace my Acer predator z35p because with my i7@5ghz, 20gb RAM, and 1080ti, I simply cannot run some of the games I own at 2k on ultra settings above 100fps. Sure a lot of games aren't a problem, but a lot of the newer games are just too demanding for ultra settings at 2k. Also, this is an ultrawide IPS panel with Gsync, which is not common. Rarity drives up the price.
