I came here to ask if it's worth replacing my BenQ 27" 144hz. Glad to see others already advise against. I'll save my money.

PhantomFace757Why? because of the refresh rate?

destrozatesIt's a HUGE monitor to only be 2560 x 1080. I had the 29" LG ultrawide and felt stretched a little thin. You're better off getting a 16:9 1440, or springing for the 1440 ultrawide. More effective screen real estate.
Also the refresh rate, if you're into gaming.
I currently have a 29" 2560 x 1440 and it's miles better than my 2560 x 1080.

noxproductionWhat do you think about getting a 28" 4k monitor that only has 60Hz, I am a gamer by the way, but I am not sure how bad 60Hz would be for me, I currently use a 1920x1080 120 Hz Benq gaming monitor

destrozatesDepends on what kind of game you play. If you're into fast games / shooters (CS:GO, Overwatch, CODesque games) 144hz is probably more important. If you're into beautiful adventure games like Witcher 3 and Tomb Raider and whatnot, and you have a rig that can handle 4k, I'd go with the 4k monitor.
I have a 1440p and 144hz monitor, best of both worlds IMO - nice high resolution but not quite 4k, and I can max out the refresh rate when I play overwatch.
