For $100 less money, less connector input that most people don’t care, more height/tilt adjustment option and 1lb heavier that any computer table wouldn’t mind, the 34uc88 is a better option in my opinion.

Tex-Arozziyeah you are correct, but its easier and more reliable to buy from Amazon since they have easier returns and customer service. But ignoring all that the non thunderbolt version is cheaper at amazon which is what i was thinking of

34UC88 cheaper and just as good, if you don't need the thunderbolt

teddy_BYep - I picked up the 34UC88 from Amazon for $599 about a month ago, and it's awesome. I don't think I'd pay an extra $150 for the thunderbolt.

Expect to see price drops on non-4K monitors accelerate rapidly towards the holidays. As usual MassDrop will be one of the primary dumping grounds where OEMs try to unload older/poorly marketed products and still make a buck before just bulk disposing of them.
