Putting a picture here showing what you can do with windows or your mac (with thunderbolt) with the 4screen-split lg software.
So YES the screen got a lot of light bleeding, it can be painfull sometimes but EVERY curved screen same size (yes even the acer predator) is using the same panel so you will have the issue on every curved 34" screen.
For games older and new non supporting the 21:9 ratio you can go to http://www.wsgf.org/ forum (people are posting patches for games daily) or use the widescreen software (google it), lot of games are supported already and it keeps increasing.
Reading comments i see that some people are happy with playing first person shooters like battlefront at 30fps, this is just nonsense, if you buy this for gaming buy a proper gpu, there is not point playing with this resolution at the lowest possible settings and/or with crappy fps, if you want to play at 30fps buy a ps4.
With a single gtx 980 ti hof i have constant 50+-60 fps on recent games (including things like mgs5, grid autosport) with every setting to the max (and i play inside a windows 10 virtual machine not really customize, so i loose performances).

zipeldiabloDo you frequently use 4-split screen, because I found it to not be effective for most tasks?

L--SI find it effective with programming, it allows me to have everything i need in the same screen so i waste less time, for the rest i don't need it. Might also be good for trading, music creation, video/photo editing i think.
Why do you find it not effective?

zipeldiabloI frequently use 2 split screen, but most tasks are too small when using 4 split screen. That just my opinion though
