Why was a drop allowed on an item that would cause it to be back ordered? This seems like a vendor/massdrop miscommunication. While saving $100-200 on this monitor had I foreseen this coming I would have paid that extra premium to have it in my hands over a month ago. This has been my only experience with massdrop and so far it has not met the standards I've set.

Fratagonia@Fratagonia We fully expected the order to be shipped on time. It was only after the first batch was sent that LG let us know that the second batch was going to be shipped from two separate warehouses. We understand your frustration with the delayed arrival and if you wish to get a full refund please reach out to us at https://www.massdrop.com/support.

elimelendezI think a lot of the problem is that the model by which Massdrop is operating means that the Vendor-Massdrop communication can be both very accurate and can be planned well in advance of the planned ship date. With the number of requested units being updated in realtime, and the Vendor also has an option to limit the total number of units in the drop. Which this drop was limited to 100 units.
The assumption being that the vendor has 100 units set aside for the Massdrop whether that's coming off the production line between XX date and XX date, or they know the amount of units stored in a specific location. What makes this really frustrating for a lot of us is that this exact monitor was on sale at ncix.com, for $750 and 5 day shipping free, just a couple days after this drop ended.
I would say that this problem lies solely within the Vendors lap, and I would like to see Massdrop have an agreement with vendors in the future to avoid these kinds of problems.
I think most people in this drop would have gladly paid a little extra to get some assurance that the Monitor would have arrived a week ago for everyone.
