OK, Just got mine about an hour ago, set it up and connected with an Apple thunderbolt cable to my Mid-2012 Retina Macbook Pro. Bought the Macbook Pro for business and it was the high end with 2.7Ghz i7, 16GB Ram, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024MB Graphics and running on OSX 10.9.5.
All I can say is WOW. This is one beautiful monitor. After hearing all the problems, it is possible I am one of the few with no issues at all? Maybe as in most forums, you don't get many of the good reports which si why I wanted to add my comments. I see no light bleeding whatsoever, the image is simply stunning, colors, clarity, text is crisp, etc... my Vimeo HD videos look beautiful! I bought this to edit on Final Cut Pro and this will be a joy. Maybe having the second shipment was a good thing as I heard LG was addressing previous issues, but who really knows... I hope there are many happy users from this purchase here! Thanks Massdrop!

callmejaceYes, hope you get a perfect one. I wanted to add... I also heard about problems with the monitor when putting the computer to sleep. I have no issues, works great. When I put the macbook pro to sleep, the LG goes into power saver mode automatically and wakes up along with the computer. Also, the only setting I had to change was to lower the brightness from the factory set 100% down to 70%. Everything else looks fantastic as it was set in the factory, and I have it sitting level with the retina screen. One other thing, the absence of a glossy screen is a major plus! I have had a lot of work to do tonight and it took a little while to get used to this huge width of a screen, but I am loving it, what a pleasure to work on.
