my 2013 MacBook Pro has two thunderbolt 2 ports with DisplayPort 1.2 so it should support 4K@60Hz right? Also, does anyone know if this monitor works with scaling (HiDPI) modes from a Mac?
Are there any manufacturers that make a 48” 2k-4K monitor? I really want to set up a sim pit with 2x27” 2k monitors + 1 48” monitor in a PLP configuration.
I'm running macOS high sierra so scaling my display doesn't show the exact resolution in system preferences. It only shows if you want larger text or more space under scaled option. Yet, when try to play around with this option then went to check the resolution in system report I can confirm it changes.
Honestly, I joined the drop and then backed out after checking Massdrop's return policy. I don't think I'd ever buy a monitor without having a fully covered return option, especially not for only 10% off… If the discount was more significant (20%+), I would probably be willing to deal with it… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
SchmexyTN panel, TV Tuner, “Motion Enhancements”, significant input lag, HDMI inputs only, 1 input at a time, no RGB color calibration, etc = TV
Size has nothing to do with it. :)
