WilliemcelroyNot sure. Just sent them a picture of the crack last night. I'll keep you posted on how it develops. The way these things are boxed, it's going to be a pain in the ass to ship back.
Dominicanito95Just heard from massdrop they said they were applying a credit but there are no more TVs available to replace it. But I seen they still have a drop available for that set I'm kind of confused
WilliemcelroyHeard back as well. They refunded me the money and told me dispose of the TV so it's nice that I won't have to worry about shipping it back. There is a drop active for the same TV and they provided me the link (see link below). I may just buy it elsewhere since I don't want to deal with the anxiety of getting another broken TV. Hoped that it worked out but I'm happy with how they handled the issue.

Dominicanito95It will be pain in the a##, I live on 3rd floor and UPS isn't exactly walking distance from me. I will take my chances as well and reorder once I get my refund. Right now, its a waiting game. Looking to get a TV for living room and master room.
satseh@satseh The TV is still just sitting in my living room. Ended up just picking one up at Best Buy and price matched using Crutchfield since they have it at $1299 (https://www.crutchfield.com/shopsearch/lg_b7a.html?SubmitType=). Amazon also has other options below $1299 but it is sold by a third party and fulfilled by Amazon. I'm happy with the way Massdrop handled my broken screen but it's just too much of a pain for such a large purchase.
Dominicanito95I am happy with the way MD handled my case as well (don't have to return it, just need to get rid of it). I am deciding on waiting if MD will do a drop on Sony A8F anytime soon (which I am interested in). Big companies need to stop taking chances with UPS handling and UPS (and other shipping services) needs to pay attention to the word "FRAGILE" and take proper precautions. I am happy for you that you got yourself a new TV.
