Wow I didn't think it would come this quickly. I requested it for my uncle who, is looking for this TV, but I'll have to request it again.

If this comes with the 1 year warranty, who is the vendor? LG has a list of authorized retailers only with whom they will honor their waranty. Who are the people backing this item?

I have a 75" in a 22'x16' room. I would say that YES an 86" 4k TV would make sense in a room of around this size. Especially if your going to wall hang it.

Fortunately for me I stopped watching television 6 years ago. But the two televisions I gave away were LG's and they performed exceptionally well and still are (I gave to my mom and nephew). But I would consider buying this when it drops to 2000. Because it will. Probably still wouldn't purchase I like to read.

65 or even 70+ inch 4Ks are way cheaper and will work just fine unless you have a MASSIVE room. For a tv this size and price I'd wait until the 8Ks come out in a couple of years. The price of this tv will nose dive like all the 1080 tvs did when 4K came out. A $4000 reduction is tempting, just not enough for me. FWIW

My comment was not related to content but price. The 8ks will drive down the price of 4ks like 4ks drove 1080p into the dirt. I still won't replace my 75" 1080 as 4ks are too expensive. That's my opinion. You are free to disagree but it's still just your opinion.
GaGuy8K is gonna be a while, Japan is angling for the first major 8K broadcast later this year (baseball IIRC). The vast majority of high end digital cameras in use by movie studios today are 6.5k at best. This is the first olympics to be shown in 4k and that's an event where a lot of money is invested by various parties in the chain. These panels are always stupidly expensive because they are sold in such low quantity. It's my belief that it will be several years before there is much growth in the market for a TV this size.

I own this TV and love it. Be advised that such a large TV does have some light bleed on really dark scenes when local dimming and HDR kick in. I have it tuned to my liking and it works great. The Dolby Vision and HDR in 4K are just fun. I also run U-verse and 1080 is upscaled by the TV. Live sports are great. Watch a live hockey game and every puck drop makes you feel like you are in the front row. i purchased w/airline miles equivalent to $6900 about 6 months ago. My only gripe is no 3D, but that’s all new models. If you want big screen space and have the wall to support it, this is a great price.
Howdy Everyone,
We have extended the time on this drop a few days. Expected shipment times have not been affected.
Cheers.
Nope, They Ship and with specifications mentioned.. They are for real.
enriqucanizares1986Don't think so. If they are for real why is there reputation for being a bait and switch site well documented on the net? Quick Google search you can find alot of negative information.
