The original Lifesense band was notable for its slim profile, extensive feature set, and low barrier to entry. The Lifesense Band 2 is even better, now with a tougher frame and an improved ARM Cortex-M4 kernel processor Read More
I bought two of these, but I don't know what to do with them. How do I charge them up? Do they run on batteries? Are the batteries included? Do I need to sync with a smart phone? Will any smart phone work, or does it need to be an iPhone? I don't have an iPhone and won't get one. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9Plus that I am still trying to figure out. I also have an LG TracFone but don't know how to sync anything... HELP, please. Thanks.
Update: all resolved; stumbled across the linked website while searching for reviews from the computer with my email and running a different browser:
https://musicphotolife.com/2017/09/lifesense-band-2-review-fitness-activity-band/
The user manual that comes with the Lifesense band doesn't have the information about email verification, which is where my problem originated.
In any event, the review linked above has lots of handy information; I just wish I'd discovered it sooner :D
Just received this today but cannot use it because it requires connection to the app to do anything, the app requires registration to activate your user i.d., but registration is not possible without a 6-character verification code, and the verification code must be filled in before a password can be set. There is no mention of such in the user guide. Scanning the QR code leads to a page with Chinese characters but nothing else happens. Scanning the QR code on the first page of the manual leads to a webiste, cdn.lifesense.com with a login which is ineffectual because i have not yet been able to register and create a user i.d. I do not have an Apple or Android phone and am trying to do this with an ipad running ios 11. What now?
On the description page the 2S is stated to be +$8, but at checkout it is +$10. Which one is correct?
Edit, the +$8 is where you see the model option photos, I assume that is the incorrect one.
Ltcvbhmm good question. I think it could be kinda hard to define "accurate", and also the reading could also be affected by lots of different factors. Just did some research and found that Apple Watch is somewhere around 90%. If we use Apple Watch as a bench mark then I would say Band 2/Band2S is maybe somewhere between 80% - 85%?
Honestly speaking, after using Apple Watch, Lifesense and Fitbit, I think Lifesense did a pretty good job on their HR sensor.
