I bought an REI Half Dome last year and I wish I had done more research first because it is just too heavy for the kind of backpacking I like to do. I am leaning toward picking up Lightheartgear Solong or Duo.

REI Half Dome 2 tent is $140, I would not pay 2x the price for this eyesore...

JoeKickassQuick search shows that REI Half Dome 2 tent weights over 5lbs. compared to this tent's 1.91lbs. Plus, the REI Half Dome 2 tent is a two person tent whereas this is a 1-person tent, not really comparable.
