KaozerI’m sure you’re no slouch in that department either, ‘ogre mitts’ indeed! My thumbs are as almost as long as my index fingers, lol! I bemoan the decline of the circus freak show...*sigh*. If only there were money in the thumb wrestling circuit...

KaozerReally? Would that be “Blades Canada” aka “Warriors and Wonders?” I haven’t used them in around 6 months. It’s simply a matter of filling out the import documents. I actively order knives from many Canadian sites! (I’m in Nova Scotia) Tactical Imports (for the best price in North America for Extrema Ratio, not to mention other goodies for law enforcement and military, like the sweet, sweet Lynx—the only legal bullpup .50cal available in Canada), Bushcraft Canada / Westwear, and W&W. I really hope that this knee-jerk reaction you describe is a temporary condition. I thought that there was not supposed to be any ramifications of the new interpretation on importers. I love the society we have in Canada but shutting down knife imports would be hard to swallow.

KaozerI have to say, there is a distinct anti-knife majority in Canada in urban areas but knives are tools as well...right?! I have always had a knife on me since childhood. I was raised in the woods I guess and knives were a necessary and expected personal item. We are a nation of frontiersmen becoming a nation of suburbanites and wilderness dilletantes.

AxeguyI contacted blades canada and this was their answer about it. I really hope they get forced to clear that up. Because limiting pocket knives is dumb.

KaozerThis is not right. No laws have changed. Maybe the many ‘sheeple‘ who have never worked with their hands won’t bat an eye but this is bad news for those that do. For those that care about this, there is no worse a development. @Kaozer, we need to mobilize and get everyone we know to sign the circulating petitions demanding action. We can’t be subjected to the same restrictions as urbanized Europe! We are still a country of vast open spaces, where the heart of The Frontiersman still beats (and beats hard with a fierce and passionate independence).

KaozerYea. You’re so right. I find most of my knife friends and contacts are in The US...so I have few compatriots where I live. Same problem out your way?
