It's a cool bag and quality looks outstanding . Tempted really, but not having umbrella hooks/straps or loops or sewn on umbrella sheath is a deal breaker For Me since I have nice ones without and that's what I'm really after atm. Again not knocking it, it's beautiful just not for me this time around :-( Ie something sorta like this, if they'd added those leather umbrella loops, it would be perfect i.e.

Danbo_de_PianoHey thanks for the kind words and checking out The Calhoun. We have considered these loops in the past on some other projects but were never sure they would resonate with many buyers. It's great to hear that there is interest in that feature. Do you typically just remove your loop straps and stow inside the bag when you aren't carrying an umbrella? Do you ever tuck a magazine/newspaper anything else in them while you carry? We always try to anticipate a variety of utility for any feature on a bag - appreciate your feedback!

I don't yet have one with these loops or straps, hence my starting a search for one to add sometime in next year or two, and i don't have a preference one way or the other as to fixed or removable, though w removable, i might pause a little, my luck i would lose one/or both of them... i would likely find other uses for non umbrella days etc depending on how executed, smaller loops almost certainly only lend themselves to umbrella but larger broader ones (I think Colonel Littleton kids in TN have one like this) once cold certain place a folded newpaper or similar in there . I do think the smaller ones like posted images examples above seem to look a little more elegant , but it just depends on the aesthetics and functionality designer would want to incorporate into the bag/case :-) thanks again for your reading our comments and offering this drop, i know many will be super pleased with the value proposition that bag provides :-)
