If these shoes were around $100, it would be worth it. But at over $200? No thanks.

bsatowYour selling yourself short. Loake make great shoes for the money. And at $220 that’s a great deal. For $100 shoes expect nothing more then cheap leather non Goodyear welted shoes. But to each his own

bsatowYou are exaggerating a bit - but I looked around and you can definitely find the same shoe much cheaper on for example Amazon. I am not sure why Massdrop does these things. They are often selling to a price that is the best on the market, which is the reason I would shop on Massdrop, but if they are (like in this case) $50 or $60 more than other sellers - why buy from them?

ArcticwildmanThank you! That is exactly my point. If you can find the same or similar items on Amazon for cheaper why buy them. here? If I can find something that is one of the best on the market for the cheapest price here, obviously it is a selling point, otherwise Massdrop is no different than any other online store. Also, what happened to all the group buy discounts? There are hardly any now.

bsatowBit late, but do you have a link to the same shoe selling for cheaper elsewhere?

bsatowYou must be joking. Crappy glued and woven sneakers made in third world sweatshops are routinely sold around the $100 mark. These are leather, hand welted and assembled by people with skill and training. Where exactly do you find comparable dress shoes for $100?

RockyMountainsThis time around this is the best deal around for these shoes. I couldn’t find a better deal anywhere else.
