Wow, 1 amp micro USB... That's appalling, especially for the price...
I'd consider this if you offered a USB C option.
Hi Massdrop community :) I have both the 3.5mm Aux and the Micro-usb cables for sale. New, free shipping and very low price.

Thanks!
Not bashing Logiix.
I've owned several braided cables from different brands and they have all been terrible. They fall apart the fastest by either getting bent or frayed open somewhere along the cable forcing the cable out the frayed hole. Most companies seem like they shoved a 6ft cable in 5ft of stretched out braided fibers, this is why it gets forced out of a tiny tear/fray. I stopped getting braided and I buy Anker cables now great quality/price.
Tldr; braided is shit. Get a normal cable. Cant speak for steel braided though.
Frizle
Thanks Frizle!
We worked meticulously with our manufacturer to ensure that the construction of these cables was built for durability and this is why we've backed our products with our 1 year warranty. First and foremost, we believe cables should last and one of the core benefits of the braided cable is that they are tangle free.
We'd love it if you checked out the steel braided as this cable was completely re-engineered from end to end and is filled with functionality. It should be the last cable you need to buy and it it backed by our 3 year warranty!
LOGiiX
bought 2 cables exactly year ago, till now they worked fine, not great but ok as there were several fryed spots with cable trying to escape the housing. as of now onee of them have weak spot where conncetion is lost if you move the cable just a tad making it completly unreliable and unusable from now on. I also belive they were made too stiff and braided part should have more room inside to prevent those permanent bends.
I don't know about these, but the steel braided ones I bought (3 of them) are utter crap. The relief spring and the steel braiding come apart from the connector at the lightning end. Two of the three I bought have done this.
Wisken
Hi Wisken,
We apologize for the inconvenience caused if you had purchased a Logiix Cable. Please contact our customer service at customerservice@logiix.net and let us start a warranty replacement for you. All we would need is an image of your cables, along with your receipt, and we can start a warranty claim.
no type c? seriously...
jedi5diah
Hi Jedi5diah,
Thank you for your interest in our cables. We have forwarded this request to our product development team. For USB-C cables, we'd definitely suggest our Piston Connect Steel USB-C (sold on Massdrop), as it is our most durable cable ever. The added spring also eliminates the damage between the housing and cable. The Piston Connect Steel USB-C also includes a 3 year limited warranty.
For more information regarding the USB-C cables, we would suggest going to our website and reading more on technical specs, or emailing us at customerservice@logiix.net.
I wouldn't touch this drop with a 20 foot pole until they make the Micro USB cables a 3.0 upgrade and 2.4A capabilities. Those 2 are literally required for Micro USB cables.
Also a Mini USB cable option for us Mechanical Keyboard users would be nice too matching cables and all.
Skiptrace
Thanks for the heads up. I didn't pay attention and assumed the Micro USB supported 2.4A charging. Just cancelled.
A nice USB C cable would be a good drop (especially one that quick charges with the OnePlus 3)
nac1
Hello nac1,
Thank you for your feedback! We will put it forward to our product development team. We would suggest our Piston Connect Steel USB-C cables, as it is our most durable cable yet. For more details on all our USB-C products will be provided on our website.

i read somewhere that only the cables sold from oneplus are dash charge compatible. I have tried it with 2-3 diff brands of usb c cables, but even with the dash charger, but they didnt support dash charge
wow...these look nice and probably have a good build quality, but $18 for a cable. wow.
$19 seems steep...especially since we'll wait like a month.
Just received these from the latest drop. The braid and the silver connectors are very nice, however, I was expecting a flexible cable, not a stiff wire. I'm disappointed. They work fine, but instead of lying flat on my desk and conforming to where I want them to go, they are stiff and have to be bent to form to where you want them. Just not what I was expecting for $20 per cable.
Jalara
Hi Jalara,
Thank you for your honest review. We always appreciate our customers' feedback, so we can improve on our products. These cables are braided to enforce durability, instead of focusing on the flexibility. All of our cables offer a unique user experience, such as our Flat Flex series, which offers more flexibility than our others cables.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
The drop comes aroung again. And again, no type C.
piriya33
Seriously, this upsets me greatly..
piriya33
Yeah...this is pretty much the only reason I'm not jumping on this drop.
Are these hand made by flaxen haired maidens and then sprinkled with unicorn tears?
Had this cable, then it broke. I made a warranty claim with the company and they didn't respond until I posted about it here. The replacement cable broke quickly too, so I filed a warranty claim again, got no response, emailed them again and got no response. Avoid this company. They don't respond. The cable end broke twice now after a short amount of time. I was only using this cable on my night table. Meanwhile my Anker cable has been going strong for a year now.

I don't have this cable, but yup, Anker and Spigen are always good bets, even if they're not braided.
Hello Mreinecker,
Just an update: we have received your email. Please reply our response email with your full name, address, and contact number, and we will complete the warranty replacement.
No USB-C? Come on... Most Android smartphones being sold today are USB-C.
KWSeattle

These look great but too thick for keyboard routing channels :(
TonightAt11
That might be a good thing, since my usb keyboard cable keeps falling out of the routing channel on my on-the-go code keyboard. It fit at first but eventually squished a little and no longer stays in.
Are you guys planning to sell those cable tie separately?
willyp777
Hi WillyP777, Thank you for the suggestion. We will look into it; however, as of this moment the cable tie only comes with our cables. :)
Any chance of a USB C cable?
zacps

Been waiting forever for USB c, there aren't any high end USB c durable cables that have a nice minimal design that's compliant with USBC and thunderbolt three
can someone explain why $25 cables are worth it? Ive been using sturdy $5-$6 oldshark and anker lightning cables that have lasted well over a year and much abuse with no problems, and anker has a 18month warranty.

Never buy apple cables. They're made to break. Anker cables have been super sturdy and reliable for me. Look around on amazon for apple-certified <$10 cables.
yuva
Because Anker doesn't make a cable to match my keyboard/keyset combo that I paid $200 for. These cables are relatively cheap by comparison.
Just about there! We've been in touch with the vendor regarding the group's order and they've let us know that they are still working to gather and pack the group's order for shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey. We will continue to check in with them throughout the fulfillment process and update the group again as soon as everything is en route to us!
Expect another update from us on 1/9 or sooner if something comes up.

Not sure if it's my batch... but the charging is extremely slow...

Not using it for quick charge or data transfer, just your basic iphone charging and it's just extremely slow on the new iPhone 7 plus.
Maiku
The charger may not be able to deliver the power necessary for charging quickly. Otherwise I'm not sure. Sorry, not an Apple person.
Awaiting confirmation! We are still in contact with the vendor and just awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing Monday morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse.
Expect another update from us on 1/3 or sooner if something comes up.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Logiix Piston Connect Braided Cables and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 1/11.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 12/30.

add USB-C and I'm in
Cool cables, I have the steel braided one, except after a few months the lightning connector came out and got stuck inside my phone. I submitted a warranty claim to the company and they have yet to respond to me. I got the cable through Massdrop. I would say avoid these - there are better quality cables out there.

To be fair I just got my replacement a few days ago. It took a long time though. We will see how this one holds up
Mreinecker
Also to be fair, I now have a tracking number for a replacement. I really hope the second one holds up better than the first.
Any chance of a Micro-B cable?
Load 5 more comments
Oh, is Micro-B just a USB 3 thing? I guess so, then. I'd only be using them to hook up my ergodox keyboard, so I hadn't paid attention to which version of USB it was.
TheOtherDave
usb 3 couldn't support the standard size micro connector so they extended it out, they're still technically micro, but i understand the confusion now
Still waiting for Type C.
