Got an email asking me to rate the support I received but the link was broken so I'm responding here instead. This box had three concrete criteria: 1. "1,000 Cards" 2. "Revised/3rd Edition to Current Cards" 3. "You'll Find Randomly Inserted Rare (...) Cards."
My box failed number three. I had no rares anywhere within my box and thus was unable to "find" them. I contacted Massdrop about the discrepancy and their support staff sent me a form letter that did not relate to my issue in the slightest, instead focusing on an imagined duplicate issue. I'd imagine because that was a more common complaint.
When I pointed out that I wasn't complaining about duplicates but rather about the lack of rares I got a message that contained this line: "I have passed along your feedback to our Hobby shop buyers, and we will be working to improve this drop in the future". No promise of any action. No line admitting that something had gone wrong. It also implies that this drop will be reopened in the future. Considering what a dismal failure this drop is, I find it shocking that not a hint of a change is mentioned.
And then, as mentioned, my ticket was closed and I was not allowed to give feedback.
I am considering this a relatively cheap lesson. So thank you, Massdrop, for the couple of items that you allowed me to buy at a dollar or two below what I can find them for on Amazon. However, I refuse to spend any more money with a company that clearly cares so little about their customers.
