Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

"Machined from a solid brick of aircraft-grade duralumin"...Straight bullshit marketing wank. That's just 2000 series aluminum with some copper in it. Duralumin is an obsolete trade name that no one uses anymore. There's no such thing as "aircraft grade" aluminum. There's just aluminum in its varying alloys...some of which are used in the aircraft industry.
The amount of unverifiable, undefinable, woo-woo nonsense that oozes from the audiophool community these days is just so fun to watch. People literally spend thousands of dollars on cables that are "directional" and have "improved laminar flow of electrons which permeates the quantum field to better balance the highs from the lows...blahblahblahblah...."Here's a $500 sticker, put it on the walls around you and listen to your living room turn into a professional opera theater with perfectly balanced resonant tones." It's all been very good to laugh at.
Of course once you get to a certain price point for each type of audio equipment it's arguable that you're hitting diminishing returns.
