Will this backpack also work well for alpine climbing?

WildWeasel@WildWeasel - Yes, this pack would well work for alpine climbing, but let me qualify that statement. It has everything you need, is durable, adjustable/versatile, and has large enough volume for extra climbing gear. If you plan on a trip that is mostly backpacking with an alpine section, or if most of your trips are backpacking but you occasionally go alpine climbing , then this would be great. However, if you are looking for 100% climbing, then there are likely better packs (though, maybe not at this price point).

DannyMilksGreat, I think I'll go for it. Can you mention some better packs (for 100% climbing)?

WildWeaselI can help you identify a few packs for your needs. What type of climbing (rock or mountaineering), what size volume, and what's your budget? @WildWeasel
