Safety laser goggles are mandatory when dealing with high output lasers and if caution is not used it could lead to permanent loss of vision. The LS-Y is Changchun New Industries Optoelectronics Technology's (CNI) laser goggles that has an Ocular Density (OD) of 2.5 and protects your eyes in the 516 to 590nm laser wavelengths. According to Laser Institute of America's (LIA) OD Calculator these goggles will protect your eyes against lasers in the 516 to 590nm range that has an average power output of 315mW in a continuous output for a period for more than 0.25 seconds.
Sturdy Construction
LS-Y is constructed of sturdy black plastic and has a wrap around style to protect your eyes when there is side exposure. The lens are magenta and when viewing the CNI Laser 532nm 5mW, the beam is less intense, but still visible for you to enjoy safely.The ear piece have eyelets so that you can hang them from your neck with a string.
Accessories Included
The LS-Y comes with a hard shelled carrying case with a zipper closure and a microfiber cloth to clean your lens.
