ChuckDeeUnfortunately the Cappuccino glass ran out of stock just before the drop. Sorry for the confusion. That shape will be offered on a future drop once it is back in stock.
WatchDoctorWe think it is good size which leaves room for the foam. Also, these mugs are great for the microwave, so we have had comments back from people that reheat their soup or other things in them.
JimEckertThanks for your reply.
A doubleshot espresso is only 2oz, so to fill a 13oz cup, you’d need 11oz of foam. With that much foam, you basically are only tasting foam and there is almost no coffee taste remaining.
WatchDoctorIt is our understanding that in the US, the typical Cappuccino is 360 ml or 12 fluid ounces. The standard ratios of espresso, milk, and foam in a Cappuccino normally equal 1/3 each. Based on this, having a 13 oz. glass mug makes sense. However, I guess it it up to personal preference.
JimEckertThanks for replying. Just in case, here is a credible reference. The link is under the picture. I guess we just have to agree to disagree on this one
