I STILL have NOT been refunded by Luke’s for the rain jacket I ordered from them well over a year ago. Despite multiple promises that a check had been sent, no check ever arrived. They stopped returning my emails. They only responded when I complained on Massdrop. AVOID!!!

wirelessnessHi wirelessness - I found myself in a similar situation and was able to obtain a refund by opening a claim through PayPal. Just in case that’s something you haven’t tried. I contacted Luke’s several times to no avail before trudging through some forums and reading that other folks were in a similar bind.

I was not able to get a refund through PayPal because I waited for a year hoping Luke's would get their act together and finally deliver me the rain the jacket. I tried to support them through their rough period and then they just screwed me over. Now they ONLY respond to me on Massdrop and won't return my emails requesting a refund. They claim to have refunded me by sending a check but that never happened. Only on Massdrop did they claim to send a check. I have no emails from Luke's promising to send a check. Shady.

FonkiThey only respond to me when I post on Massdrop. There are no emails from them promising to send a check. They have my PayPal which was the original method of payment. I have reported that no check was received. If a check was sent they clearly know it was never cashed. Now they ignore my requests for refund and don't respond to emails. $152.99 down the drain. Beware!!!

nswensonYou have 6 months to open a claim with PayPal. If you held out hope you'd get your item, you may well be out of luck and time. Also, Paypal stopped doing business with Luke's some time ago, due to large number of claims that were filed against him. Credit cards may have done same as now a check is requested for payment. Which is not going to be refunded by your bank if item is never made or shipped.

FatDaddyStill no response from you via email regarding the check you supposedly sent. I’ve provided my home address to send the refund. It would go a long way to ease concerns about this drop if you refunded someone for your previous fraud.

nswensonI did the same. Those of us who have been using Paypal and Ebay for a long time know that paypal almost always sides with the buyer.

wirelessnessUpdate: After my complaints here Luke’s FINALLY sent me a check For $153. No apology. In fact they still managed to be condescending.
They sent the check around the time of my previous comments but I’m just now reporting back. Sorry for the delay.
