These are super limited series. Only 100-175 numbered watches worldwide. All materials are top end. Sapphire crystals front and rear with double side anti-reflective DLC coating, 316L stainless steel, water resistant to 300 meters, dials are hand made, They include a leather strap, top grade rubber strap and a 316L stainless steel bracelet, Top grade A Swiss Super-Luminova filled by hand, Full lifetime free timing adjustments and pressure testing and they are all designed, assembled, tested and serviced in Ohio. The movements are the most high end version made by Miyota and designed to exceed the performance of the common ETA 2824-2 and 2892 movements. They are all tuned to run LÜM-TEC's performance standard of +/- 3 seconds/day in 6 positions which is a higher standard than the Swiss COSC standard. There are very few watches with this high of quality craftmanship and material standard anywhere near this price range.

RayKnightCOSC includes temperature change and the test seems to be longer, but i think you are right for the rest part.
But i do think similar watch without being limited and tuning is largely available at this price range and lower.
It comes down to if you like the design or not,for me it is just looks too much like a Panerai, aka itself don't have any character.
And it is easy to tune a watch movement to be accurate but how long the accuracy lasts is the question, open your watch every year or two won't do it any good.I know many random ETA keeps excellent time when many people just got them but them seems to deteriorate after a few months.
EDIT: i forgot to mention the fact that limited edition is a common hype. Many brands makes LE watches but most of them don't have much more value over the normal product line.Especially for some brands that spits out LE every year(Panerai). This true for small brands but big brands does this as well.
But LE isn't worthless,if a LE watch has good difference from the normal one it based on that people love the price will sky rocket. It depends mainly on the difference of the design, craftsmanship and people's desire for it(in contrast of the number of the watches of the model available),not just the phrase "Limited Edition" and the number.
aka Many people want it+small number produced=high value Many people want it+big number produced =higher than normal value Not a lot of people want it +any number produced =not much higher than normal value if you resell it (normal value refers to the value of the watch the LE watch based on)

DeathWatchThats one reason we like the 9015 so much. It holds VERY consistent timing. We have been using them since 2009 and have had less than 1% defect rate on them vs 10-12% on the ETA 2824-2. We do free timing adjustments for life as well. You can send it in every year if you want and we pressure test, clean/lube seals and tune them. We have used thousands of ETA movements in our watches and the 9015 service record has been worlds better.

RayKnightWell said, RayKnight. At around $700, any of these limited edition models is a good buy, especially with three straps included. Add to that the fact that these are not 'gray market' examples that lack manufacturer support and the value is obvious.

RayKnightHi,
I can't help but notice that you used "We" in your responds,so are you the representative of LUM-TEC?If so why don't you have the "V" mark that Massdrop issues for Vendor account, you should really ask for one.But it could be that Massdrop seems to be updating their website.
9015 seems to be a good movement but personally i don't like it since I don't live in US and it is hard to get it fixed, and ETA is much easier. And i don't really care for Japanese movement but that is just my prejudice and i know a good number of people love it.
Also i believe ETA movement has different grades,so it can come pre-tuned from ETA.
And from what I learn that open your watch every year is not a bright idea since every time that you do so you risk damage parts in the movement, and have dust entering the movement.I have an Omega Speedmaster,i just send it to service, but the official service center return it with a dent on the movement plate. They are not Swiss watchmakers but they still are the authorized official service center in my country, and they still screwed up.Oh,and i know many people got their watch's case scratched by watchmakers, mine is ceramic so it didn't happen but this is a stainless steel watch.
I am not a hater or anything ,but i just don't find this particular model interesting,if you are the vendor would you bring the 300m model? https://www.lum-tec.com/collection/current-models/300m.html. I found them more interesting than this, preferably with ETA movement but that is just my thought.
I think the 300m has some interesting changes over the IWC it seems to based on.Which makes it interesting to me,a bit like the Omega 300m and a bit like the IWC diver, maybe some Rolex and Omega PO as well.I don't hate a mix but i certain don't want to wear a watch that seems to be from an high-end brand which it is not, that seems misleading and dishonest to me.(this M series one)
I love a good lum,so i do find the idea that LUM-TEC is based on interesting.A good lum is pretty important to me,that is the reason why i got the Omega PO,they said it is one of the brightest lum watch available on the market and i'd like to see how LUM-TEC stack on with it.The reason won't get this watch is that i think Panerai is overpriced, while i like the design i don't like the craftsmanship of Panerai,it charges too much for what it is,and a look-alike is even worse IMHO.
So if you are the vendor please don't be pissed for what i said,i am sorry if I came out a bit strong.I really like to see the 300m on Massdrop, and if you do bring it,I will get a version with PVD and ETA.
