Almost bought one through mass drop until I was walking down the isles of my local Home Depot... I guess they really do follow through on that guarantee.

Wow, just got these delivered today!
Really looking forward to this!
There's a typo in blue description box on overview tab. Nova is not + $4. Should be Max.
I've ordered this twice.. first time shipped to the US, second time to the Philippines. Any chance you guys can get any of the shipping companies to agree to ship these? They're really awesome for what they are!
Is there a reason no response to question about international shipping? ???

Ok thanks I have received other products with batteries before but if those are the rules. Maybe just let us know upfront would be great like the warning for knives. Cheers

Very valid point - I'll look into this .
Thanks for the feedback :)
Is there a reason this will not ship to Australia? ??
Will this ship to Canada?
Is the PackLite Max USB able to charge phones?
Raechilie
also want to know this. from what i can tell there is an older model of luminaid just simply called 'max' which doesn't charge devices. i think the one being sold here is that older model. pretty sneaky to leave this unclarified tbh

Hi! Thanks for your question and sorry for the confusion. The PackLite Max USB, offered in this drop has a USB input port but not an output port and is not able to charge external devices. Here is a video that breaks down the differences between the two products. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lW2p2gtKss4&t=9s
What happened to international shipping? I've been buying this again and again? no more shipping to the Philippines? @_@
The drop says you receive a 2 pack. i received only 1
Has anyone had any issues with the power/settings button being too far recessed in the body? My order arrived and the Spectra USB model has a button that is so far recessed you have to use your finger nail and rock around the hole until you hit the switch. I have no problems with the standard Nova model which has a switch that's slightly proud of the face plate frame and you can feel with your finger under the plastic casing.
WHY NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING????!!!!!! what a joke!!!

Some intrnational people might actually need these. They are called LuminAid, check their website.

have seen, but not the same price
Very cool! There are so many places in underdeveloped Countries that could use this. People whos only light source is fire. They have so many health and lung issues due to breathing the smoke. North Korea would certainly appreciate these. I would donate money to help get these distributed. I'll have to look further into this. Ok. So watched video and you can sponsor a family in need through LuminAid.

The supreme dear leader King Jong-il has invented this. It is false that graduate students even had a notion of it. Every household of the glorious DPRK will be provided will two of these in lue of food for a week.

Good one. Flrrt. I hope this brings some positive attention to the needs of others less fortunate, so that they may recieve help. North Korea is in the dark as seen by satilite. It was a side jab. We'd be put in prison if we tried to assist those poor unknowing people. Yet their are many people we can help and I don't think their concerned with charging their cell phones.
No shipping to Canada?
Can you use these to charge your phone?
Are you sure? The box and instructions I'm looking at for the MAX don't indicate that it can be used as a charger
I just returned from a 5 day camping /fishing trip. I used my LuminAID lights for the tent and around the camp. The lights were used for about 3 hours daily and they all charged back up during the day. One was used under a Noah's Tarp and it charged without direct sun light! These are great lights and weigh so much less than traditional battery or fuel operated lanterns.

The unicorns were all set to climb on the ark, when all of a sudden admiral akbar appeared and yelled "it's Noah's traaaaap"
Under and ark drfinately not 😁. Under a tarp, from memory, yes but a lot slower, I'd have to test to confirm...
One of the photos shows a phone being charged by USB off the light, I missed that KickStarter, but all the models shown here say they are only charged by USB, not that you can use them as shown in the photo.
is this the model that you can use as a powerbank and charge your phone off of?
I picked these up (non-USB ver.) during the last drop. Really like the idea of the product, but both of my lights failed within a month of receiving them and a replacement light that I paid shipping on also failed.
2 pack vs single light. $19.99 msrp for one light or $29.99 for 2.

Yes. At least that's what I'm thinking. I've been looking at these forever, and they are $19.99 through the manufacturer, and roughly the same price on Amazon.
@imunclebubba Oops thanks for catching that mistake. The MSRP for 2 of the Nova USB lights (base price) is $39.98.
Drop price $29.99, MSRP $19.99. WTF?
