It seems the Massdrop Exlusive version of this Hero2-in-1 Lantern was more robustly built. Is there any chance you will drop that version soon? Don't want to have buyers remorse of buying this version if the seemingly identical product with better build quality will be available soon.

Hi @Gigadext , this drop includes the Massdrop exclusive version of the PackLite Hero 2-in-1 Supercharger! So no need to worry about buyers remorse :)
Is this drop for 1 or 2 lights? This question was asked 20w ago no response.

I believe it is plural because the drop is for the choice of the Max version or the Hero Version. The Hero version is more powerful.

Hi Shawn, This drop is for 1 light. Sorry for the confusion.
Is this for one light or two?
I always like this product line (a few years back) and eventually got an original pack lite in my Battlebox (cool subscription box company). It will charge from indirect light as well as direct. It has a high and low setting and a strobe mode too. My only gripe is the material will discolor from heat. I moved mine to just storage until I need it but I do like the light a lot. I also recommend hybridlight https://hybridlight.com/ The Massdrop Biolight camp bundle also included some awesome lights with the stove. I was very happy to get on that drop.
I own 2 Packlite 16’s and an orignal Packlite they work great for me. I hang them on the outside of my tent during the day and they are good to go all evening. I probably really don’t need to charge them everyday, the battery is normally not completely depleted before I retire for the night. I purchased these about 2 years ago and have not experienced any problems. I think I’ll join this drop to use this larger light to light the common area around camp.
Anyone own both a luminaid and a luci light? I wanna get one, but I'm not sure which one is better

Definately recommentd the luminaid. I swapped from Luci. Not sure what the newer models of LUCI offer but my older one was tougher material in the body although, I found the clear plastic to be a bit annoying if the lantern was on a table. because on the older model the handles were fixed, it meant carrying an extra little caribiner and I tore the handle on mine going through scrub.
I like the fact that I can recharge my Luminaid via USB if there has been low light or you're in town and are back out on the trail in a short time. The strap is much better and allows it to be hung in more places.
I own the first model. It feels like you never have to actually try to charge it. Just put it on the outside of your backpack and it will charge

Had the same thing happen to my First gen. According to luminAID's website, "Since our products are made with TPU (a kind of rubber), plastic welding would work best to repair the bag. Any waterproof, flexible adhesive or epoxy advertised as working on rubber will be able to repair your lantern. We would recommend Loctite Vinyl, Fabric and Plastic, which you should be able to find at your local hardware store or online."

Thanks Black Fox, I'll try that.
