Can anybody recommend something similar to this or the Nextorch K3 (which I bought on here many moons ago) but sized up to run AA rather than AAA? It seems like everything up in AA size is either heavily knurled or spreads out at the front like mini-maglites or both. I like the sleek shape/look/feel of a true penlight, but would love to be able to use the same AA rechargables I already have for everything else. Not at all concerned about the increased size necessary to fit them.
What was the recent price?

I carry a steamlight stylus pro for work since its furnished by them which is about the same size. Great pen light that outputs plenty of light and carries nicely. I was considering this lumintop but since i get streamlights free ill hold off.

It’s definitely a beautiful companion to the Titanium version.

Ha. I literally just ordered this a few weeks ago for nursing school to replace my old pen lights that kept turning on in my my bag and draining my batteries. Tempted to pick up another.

Tachy_as_a_clamSomeone below complained that this light kept coming on in their pocket and draining the battery. However, unless they were pushing down on the light while in their pocket, I don’t see how that’s possible. The button on mine is so stiff/firm that it’s impossible to activate the light accidentally while in my pockets.
Now if the poster was referring to tight jeans pockets where their hands were going in and out and applying pressure to the ends of the light, well, then I can see that. But resting alone in a pocket isn’t going to activate it. The clicky button is simply too stiff - which is a good thing. 👍🏼

glennacYeah it doesn’t seem to be much of a problem with this one since the button is much more stiff. Granted I’ve only had one clinical day with it so far, but I havn’t found my bag glowing or the batteries dead yet!

I wonder if this one will have the same problem that the Titanium model I received last week from the other drop has. The gap between the head and body is too wide. As a result the brass ring flops around and detracts from the otherwise classy appearance of this light.
** UPDATE ** The Black one featured here did not have the same tolerance issue that the Titanium one did. 👍🏼

It's $20.99 on Amazon with Free shipping. Even committing at 17.99 + 2.75 shipping, doesn't seem to be a good deal if you live in the US.

I have burned through way too many batteries with this because the switch is easily turned on in my pocket.
