Anyone have any way to contact the manufacture? I still can not get the base open to take the cap off to charge my flashlight. its basically a one time use light. I don't know if it got pinched closed or was manufactured wrong. when I try to open it up, the whole rear comes off and not just the cap.
JasonAlberhttp://www.lumintop.com/contact-us.html If you're able to get to the batteries though, you could use a battery charger that accepts 18650's. It would suck to lose some of the functionality, though it's often considered safer to use a separate battery charger rather than one built into devices. I believe because there's more heat dissipation thanks to exposure to open air.
Why is shipping 33% of the product, it's not cheaper to buy here than amazon/ebay etc.
You should really make a EU site or just provide free internationally shipping...
zubamseActually I checked eBay before I purchased and they were more expensive. I didn't check Amazon. I haven't recieved mine yet. Hope it's worth it.
Just received my flashlight and there was almost no information provided about the operation of the flashlight. Massdrop told me to post this note to the discussion forum to see if I can find some information from the community.
Went to Lumintop website and there is no manual for this flashlight on their website. YouTube video reviews seem to indicate that some kind of manual exists but alas I could find nothing on-line.
Rather disappointed in the Massdrop response, by the way...
Sparky85Ok, looks like its bad batteries or it always could be the light. Refreshed the batteries in my charger, and it seemed to work fine off/on for a few hours, but now its back to not turning on or turning on very dim.... Has anyone else had issues? Contemplating if I should return or shell out for new batteries. Massdrop does not have any more in stock, so I'll have to fin d a replacement. SD75 is $190 w/out batteries and $199 w/ on amazon.
The batteries that came with mine show a resistance of 130,157,146,207 milliohms before, and 154,170,149,183 milliohms after... Idealy this should be lower than that for being 'new', the closer to 500 is where the cells are considered to need replacing AFAIK.
