FYI: Can be purchased for less than $40 elsewhere. Google it.

adema24Loser. BadTrainDriver is correct. It's a commodity.

TCatTrue, it's a marketable good, so yes, it's a commodity. But false, you can't find this exact setup for "$40 less". You can easily find the flashlight itself for $40 less, but this MD version comes with 18650 battery, battery charger, tail cap, filter, mount, wrench, and USB charger. You can go home now.

adema24@adema24 If all you care about is "exact setup", you must be a sucker for mattress ads and other flim-flams. (In case you aren't aware, and at this point that seems a certainty, there are very few manufactures and models of mattresses also... they change the name and the fabric on it - the pattern - for each store so they cannot be price-compared. ) Most adults have learned that only liars and cowards hide behind words like "exact" and "always." So how much would you pay for the filter, "wrench" and having "Lumitop" stamped on it? Because as a commodity you can get a Cree XM-L2 flashlight nearly identical to this, with hard case, charger, battery, additional O-rings and lanyard rated at the same output, for $15 at that big web store.

TCat$15 eh? Provide a link. I mentioned "this exact setup" because it's the actual product being sold here. If you want something different, go somehere different.

adema24"provide a link"? Really? You can't even use "that big web store". Fascinating. True story: I bought several such units just a few months ago. But right now I'm enjoying you making an indelible (the internet remembers) fool of yourself in public.
It's interesting that you consider "exact setup" to be worth the value, and then echoed my point: EVERYONE should go elsewhere rather than get this drop. Despite me being a Lumintop fan when they do something worthwhile, as the https://www.massdrop.com/buy/lumintop-007-torpedo-pocket-flashlight was. (Which I bought several of.)

TCatYou are all talk and no action. I asked for a link and you can't provide it. You can, however, provide a link to something else you supposedly bought; but not what's being asked of you. It's simple: put up or shut up. It's all I ask.

adema24You can't even use Google or Amazon and you're setting conditions? I'll make you a wager... If in 72 hours after you accept this (and provide your real email address), I fail to provide a spec-compatible, meaning same Cree XM-L2 U2 LED, 1000 Lumen+ output, same battery, Aluminum IPX 8 body, same modes (strobe, etc.), charger and lanyard - NOT including the useless filter and wrench - for the amount discussed (and it will be much less), then I will bow out of MassDrop discussions permanently. If I do provide that, YOU commit to bow out permanently. And you provide your real email address for verification, so you don't just re-register.
To quote one particular internet troll, " It's simple: put up or shut up. It's all I ask. " You game?

TCatMore than a day later, it's clear that adema24 is all bluster and no action. My offer is now expired.
