I purchase same light when offered before in silver, lasted approx 2-3 years before it died, to be fair, my keys take a beating, get thrown all over the place in and outdoors, but thought this would be more robust.
kyleemjDoes the magnetic option include both tail caps or is it a swap?
EDIT: answering my own question, the magnetic cap is in addition to the regular cap. So if you choose that option, you get both caps.
for the record I got the massdrop one first before i ended up buying this one on amazon. I live this one MUCH better. the button feels much more sturdy and the whole thing feels noticeably lighter.
There's something about bare metals that I love. The brass, copper and un-anodyzed titanium models are gorgeous. I'd love to see Lumintop make a stainless steel and plain aluminium version of this. Maybe sterling silver? Nickel? Lots of great possibilities. And the Nichia emitter should always be an option. Black anodised is over-used.
Just curious but why is it $8.50 to ship 2 of these to Canada where as the Brass and Titanium versions $4.75 and $3.93? Aren't they all the same with different housing materials? Not a complaint, just curious after I saw the differences for shipping.
