The Lunatik iPhone Cases are artfully engineered to protect your iPhone 6, while maintaining its slender profile. The Lunatik Cases come in 3 minimalist designs, each featuring different protective technology Read More
I have a LunaTik Flak for my iPhone 5S. I highly recommend this case. I haven't used any of the others, but will certainly be using LunaTik cases in the future after I upgrade. If you are looking for a new case, certainly get one of these.
Wouldn't hurt to have some labels on your photos in the description. I certainly don't know a Seismik from a Flak from an Architek. 'It just might be the Lunatik I'm looking for' but I wouldn't know from the photos alone.
Also, as an iPhone 6 plus owner, I almost stopped reading after the first paragraph thinking these were for 6's only.
Just some suggestions - thanks, Massdrop!
Ogen_the_MaticUntil the images are labelled (which they are on the first page). Seismik: Has the Truss design surrounding the outside of the case designed to protect against impact. When dropped this design (borrowed from military tires) takes the impact and re-directs around the phone and it literally bounces. Flak: Like a "Flak jacket) has a metal outer case on top of a absorbing/softer inner rubber material that surrounds the phone. Architek: This has the inter-crossing diagonal beams inside a clear outer shell. Borrows from building architectural design so that the interlocked beams provide strength and diverts impact force across the case instead of through it to the phone. It is the thinnest of the cases. All provide effective everyday drop protection so the choice is really a personal one.
Hope that helps.
These cases are no joke, look at this WIRED Battle Tech video where the Lunatik Taktik protected an iPhone 5 from a 50 pound safe being dropped on the top of it from 8 ft up.
Seismik (middle in image above) uses same Truss technology. The Siesmik, Architek and Flak are all everyday drop protection phones that do a great job of protection at a value price. Just do not drop a 50 pound safe on them like Wiley E Coyote going after the Road Runner and they will do great.
RHujarIn the safe drop test, the Taktik sit at a very crooked angle, and the safe also hit it at a very crooked angle, allow it to slide out from under the impact.
That test is facepalmingly bad.
