I originally bought this with the intent of using it to charge my macbook and iPhone and at first it worked fine but about after a couple of days it stopped working/charging for my macbook.

I had an Elebrium hub but had a lot of disconnect/reconnect issues with it - my Windows was playing those sounds every minute or so! I am not having ANY of these issues with this hub and I have more ports. Very happy with this product so far - actually plan on buying a second one when this comes back up for purchase again (which I hope is soon!)
