I've seen a lot of people saying that this doesn't stick well on their dashboards. First few times I tried putting this on my dash, it would fall off as soon as I started driving. I got it to work by cleaning off the suction cup and my dash with a clorox wipe, alcohol on a paper towel would probably work too. My dashboard is textured so I thought it would never work after the first few times.
Edit: Forgot to mention I made a trip 2 hours in each direction without this falling off once I finally got it to stay on
