I'm looking to get back into Magic (I haven't played in years), and I'll most likely be playing at entry-level. Is this a good place to start without using a theme deck? Or would it be better to get a theme deck?
HarlsHickshonestly if you're JUST getting back into magic, these wouldn't hurt but you definitely won't be able to create a REALLY synergized deck with the limited resources. I would recommend this though if you like don't have any lands etc and are just building from scratch again. The intro/event decks are pretty weak as well and you also lose out on the fun of creating a personalized deck. If boosters/cards are what you're looking for then the pre-release kits are a nice place to start as well. This IS all of course if you're wanting to get started on building a deck that'll work in standard
