During receiving, our warehouse has quickly informed us that there was a short shipment from the vendor for the group’s order. We have already informed our vendor of the issue and have gotten confirmation that the second batch of the remaining orders have been shipped to our warehouse. The second batch is expected to arrive to our warehouse by 4/22. We have already forwarded the tracking information to our warehouse and have prioritized the group’s order to ship out as soon as it arrives.
We understand that the additional wait time is undesirable. If you would prefer to cancel your order, please contact Community Support using the “Contact Support” button in your transactions page (massdrop.com/transactions).
You can expect an update from us on 4/25 or sooner if something comes up.
If you have any questions, please visit our Help Center (massdrop.com/helpcenter).

PeterKOk, this is just ludicrous now. Let's go through the chain of events shall we?
1) We commit to a drop with a shipping date of April 4th 2) We are given a two week delay due to a vendor issue to April 18th 3) A little under a week prior (5 days) to the revised shipping date some people start receiving shipping confirmations, leading us all to breath a collective sigh of relief 4) A lot of people do not receive their shipping confirmation, leading to speculation that you guys were shipping by type (with the consensus being gaterons) 5) On the revised shipping date (today) at 10PM (my time) you say that your warehouse QUICKLY informed you that there was a short shipment from the vendor and revise AGAIN for another 4 days
Now at this point I'm pretty fed up. I also call bull on the last point of you saying that the warehouse QUICKLY informed you. If it was that they informed you QUICKLY about there being a short, it would have been realized WHEN YOU RECEIVED them, unless your warehouse did not bother to check to make sure that all were received OR they were sent in multiple shipments (which is hard to believe but not entirely uncommon). I think you guys need to be more transparent because you have a lot of really frustrated customers at this point and now you really can't point all the blame to the vendor. Do you plan to at least give expedited shipping to those of us that will have waited (by the time they are shipped out and received) almost 3 MONTHS at this point? Because if not, go ahead and cancel my order, this is disgusting.

PhantomTacoAgreed - there were just too many issues with this drop. Even if we all eventually got our keyboards, I think this just leaves a bad memory, and we will remember it every time we look at it. I'm out.

PhantomTacoYou are completely misunderstanding the context of the update. He isn't saying they quickly notified them and they just found out. They quickly notified them, like WHEN THEY GOT IT, and they just 8 hours ago got actual confirmation from the vendor.
As in, once again, we're waiting on Magicforce to learn how to be a real company and fulfill their orders.

tylerbrainerdDon't understand your reasoning. If he said OUR warehouse let him know quickly that they hadn't received it all, that would imply that the Massdrop warehouse (not the vendor warehouse) let him know. If they hadn't received them all they would have known early on because the first thing you do when you receive a bulk shipment is make sure that all is accounted for. Since people started getting shipping confirmations last week, it would stand to reason that they didn't quickly let him know, unless 5 days is quick by their standards.

That's literally exactly what he said. As in they got the first shipment, the MD warehouse immediately knew something was up. Then they contacted the vendor and only just now received any information that they could share with us.

tylerbrainerdSo they couldn't say anything earlier, like almost a week ago when they found out?

PhantomTacoFound out what? For all they knew, it was arriving later that day, or the next day. Without confirmation from the vendor, what could they say?

tylerbrainerdIf they didn't get it all in that shipment, all they had to say was we are currently missing some of the orders and are in contact with the vendor.

tylerbrainerdBut they waited about 5 business days, your logic doesn't make sense.
