I want this but for the 82-key version.
Can't wait for this drop to come back.
If i wait , this drop re-open soon? or It is ended?
castorhyun
it won't open again till the current order is fulfilled so at least till mid april
I know I'm late, but for how much did this drop go?
PITADSV
I'm pretty sure I paid $80 for gateron reds, I believe common cherry switches were an extra $18, (maybe $12), and less common cherry switches were an extra $24 I'm pretty sure.
My one and only gripe for this drop was the MX Whites and the Gateron Whites, I took a gamble, and I hope the Gateron White's aren't their 'clear'.
SaskAudioGuy
I am actually hoping for the opposite i actually love the light gateron clears
AntonyFarag
Actually I think I might be on your side after all.

Can someone tell me the keycap set for this keyboard
Victor18
The Magiforce 68 uses a standard keycap set. I spent too much time dragging the internet to find this out.
Will this be available in Black?
ytsejam1138
Wouldn't you be better off buying the Drevo Calibur or Anne Pro if you're interested in a black keyboard? The switches won't be quite as good, and USB-C isn't an option, but the bluetooth is the same, the branding isn't an assault on the aesthetic, the price is cheaper and the lighting is RGB. I've tested the Drevo out myself and would have bought it if I didn't fancy the whiteness of this model, the restraint of the slightly upscale keycaps and the appearance of Bluetooth 4.0 (finally) on MD -- a generation behind, as seems customary for keyboards (esp. here). 4.0 isn't tremendous for audio, but for keyboards, it's the advent of usability.

Is it worth getting the Cherry's over the Gateron?
Carrein
I picked Gateron

It depends entirely on the switches and your taste. For browns and blues, I don't happen to think so. For MX clears or natural whites, it's my opinion that nothing else in this drop compares.
Please make a version with RGB LEDs!
will it come with any extra keycaps to accomodate for layout customisation?
My only gripe with the Magicforce 68 is the branding above the arrow keys. If only they could make it removable or produce some without it. Otherwise a great board.

Please wait for the next drop. We will make changes for you.
senge
Wish you'd told us that before the drop ended, Senge. Are you willing to make an even or money-fortified exchange? My keyboard hasn't even shipped yet. Discreet logo placement is something I thought you were never going to consider.
wow i'd totally buy this if the ship date wasn't so far off, will have to go with anne pro 2 instead!
Is this Mac compatible? Can I use Karabiner with this?
lasiyo
I have a wired Magicforce 68 and it works great. I do have Karabiner.
lasiyo
Previous version was, it's regular USB HID device. I use it with all popular system (Mac, Windows and Linux).
Sorry if this is a "noob" question... But can I get an azerty version of this ?
C4kerino
You can reprogram it to map the keys how you like, and then shift the keys around yourself (profile will be a tiny bit off for those that you move) or buy an azerty set. :)
Is lighting modes more than breathing ?
What software is used to reprogram?
Is there any pictures of the USB-C port? I want to see if it's recessed in the case or flush.

I need to find small braided cable for this.
Can you swap the Left Windows and Alt keys? On Macs, the GUI (aka Windows key) is next to space bar?

Great. How do you do that? Is it in the magiforce programming software?
(Edited)
delbo
Yes.
They are like 30 quid on amazon
Penghunter
Not for the Bluetooth version.
Penghunter
This has MUCH better keycaps too.
Will the reprogramming software be basic or robust? My purchase is contingent on whether I can program multiple layers
What's the material for the keyboard? Is it plastic or aluminum? Like not the keys... but the back part, I don't know what it's called.
Khoiboi
The top plate is stamped aluminium sheet that’s been machined around the edge, the bottom half is injected plastic.
Khoiboi
face plate is aluminum, case is plastic
I love the magicforce68, I have 3 (2 backlit, 1 non). One of the things I really like is how the ESC key is on the top layer, shift-ESC is tilde, and Fn-ESC is backtick. Upon looking closer at this I noticed tilde/backtick is moved above delete and insert is moved to a function layer. A total deal breaker for me :(

Depends on the capabilities of their programming tool if it will allow shift-ESC. Plus the keycaps won't match which will drive me crazy :)
abjr
How do you use insert so much? It’s default on all the time for me....
how do you switch between multiple paired devices?
PPoLang
nvm. i can see bt1, bt2, etc

Fn+Q:Bluetooth Device 1 Fn+W:BLuetooth Device 2 Fn+E:Bluetoothe Device 3 Fn+R:Wired Device
Silent switch options would be nice.
What is the material of housing (body)? It seems something like metal (aluminium?) but I'm not sure. And, are the switches are replaceable?
6qyzak
Aluminum top, plastic bottom. Your second question is answered quite a few times in other comments.
888mjl
wow, BT keyboard with aluminium housing! Shame that it cannot replace switches, It'd be way better if it could.
Is there anyway I can get this keyboard now for full price?
Does this have the same stuttering polling rate issues are the original?
the font on key caps is great!!
What kind of stabilizer is used for the wide keys?
Now, if they could just get the branding off the top of the board.
