shaybuzFor when you already have the misaligned Seiko and are looking to add depth to your collection, here you go. This has a completely different look and material, no comparison at all.

condor9You're welcome to buy whatever you like buddy. The movement is the 4r35 unbranded by seiko (which in the seiko turtle you get the 4r36 with the day-date complication). And with the size of it there's Don't really get why two of the best drops wasn't released again during black friday.

shaybuzI agree it's a weird decision. I've always wondered about the appeal of microbrands. I kinda get it, I think. For me, I have my Seiko itch scratched. SKX007/009, three turtles, a sumo, two baby tunas, two shrouded monsters (or monster tuna lol, I lose track of the nicknames), kinetic sun019... etc. Sure I'm now eyeing the new samurai and 62mas reissues but that's another story.
I've always been curious about bronze/brass cases, and that's something I'm never going to get with Seiko. I'm guessing it's a similar story for those who take the plunge on microbrands - they might offer something your usual favorites don't? Plus this offers bronze at a brass/steel price point. Knowing it's a seiko purring underneath actually kinda puts my mind at ease :p -3.5 s/d after two weeks, not too shabby.

serifI entirely prefer microbrands myself. In my roughly 70 piece collection, nearly all of them are microbrands and most of them are simply better (in my opinion) than what I could get from bigger names that don't carry much appeal for me such as seiko beyond the skx and citizen beyond the sky/navihawk models.
