Anyone here experience a problem with this mat being slippery when hands inevitably get sweaty?
Reading some reviews on Amazon that look like this may be a problem, especially with this color mat (Thrive).
Wondering if Manduka will support any problems if it turns out the mat becomes a slip and slide.
I use a long version of the same Pro Lite mat. It's a high quality mat. Recommended. It'll last for a long, long time. These are usually about $85 retail.
As a yoga teacher for the last three years this is the only mat that I use. There is no need to switch mats up. It is denser than the typical retail mats, however I am convinced that the denser surface helps reduce strain and eventual injuries. Note the weight of the mat it is heavier than most mats. That's not an issue for me, but depending on your situation it may. The bottom line is this is a quality product that is worth the extra money. I have not regretted purchasing.
LolaTIt's around $9 to me in California. I just got this exact mat (same color) on Amazon for $61 + free shipping. The lowest price of this drop + shipping + tax equals out to around the same price. Might be easier to just go that route.
This is the best mat you can buy. It lasts forever, isn't too sticky or soft, doesn't smell and is hard wearing. I am long time yogi and have had these mats for the past 10 years. I haven't worn one out yet.
