I see that nothing has been done to fully protect the pens from rubbing against each other. This real should be called a pencil case since I can't understand how anyone would put $50-and-up pens into these.

FearlessleaderThere are individual pockets for pens and the halfzip case protects the clips.

b_sandNot showing that in the pictures. The flap doesn't cover the clips and the half zip doesn't show anything to cover the pens when its closed.

FearlessleaderGood point. The clamshell in only good for pencils and the one with the flap..well just look at the reviews, the flap is too stiff to work. I think I'm gonna put my micro-screwdrivers in it.. although it will be my most expensive screwdriver case...
