620 Lumens from a Cree XP-G2...?
I really don't think so. Cree's own specifications state that the maximum output is 515 Lumens at 4.7 Watts: http://www.cree.com/LED-Components-and-Modules/Products/XLamp/Discrete-Directional/XLamp-XPG2
My 2x AA flashlight with the same XP-G2 LED (a Thrunite Archer 2A) puts out a claimed 272 Lumens. The Thrunite Neutron 2A V2 runs a Cree XM-L2 which is a much larger emitter which is capable of putting out 720 Lumens if it's driven well. The new Thrunite Archer 2A V2 (cool white) uses the newer (and more efficient) Cree XP-L emitter, but even that "only" puts out a claimed 450 Lumens on maximum.
Sorry for the scepticism, but personally, I think Maratac are being a little "creative" with the claimed specifications here.

MandoBearBut thrunite rates their lights in ansi specification. Maractacs rating of 620 lumens is at the emitter. So 620 LED Lumens is more then likely 380-430 in ansi specification.(e.g. Nitecore ea21). Nonetheless this is still a great light at its price.

JimmylsxThat may well be so regarding Thrunite and their ANSI ratings, but I still think that Maratac quoting an output which is substantially greater than Cree say is available from the emitter is somewhat suspicious. If it is possible to "over-drive" the emitter to that extent, I wouldn't be surprised if it has a significant effect on its service life.
We'll only know for sure when someone puts one on the bench and runs some proper, independent tests.
