You're probably right, but I still don't like it, I couldn't explain why but it has some cheap/unfinished feeling to me, like the maker was too lazy to add a button.

I don't get it. It states a limited run of 500 lights but then states 796 sold. Now I'm no mathematician but something seems off.

toddcshoe796 ever sold on Massdrop. That's over several years. But each time Maratac manufactures them they make 500 at a time.

Hal_ChaseI don't know how much it was on Maratac's website in 2018, but in 2020 it's $75 on their website, 1/3 more expensive than Drop.

I've sent 4 messages concerning my faulty Maratac and have not yet had a reply...poor show Massdrop, I won't be recommending you to family & friends.

What's the guarantee on these lights???
