ParttiProbably. But if I can, I'd rather pay a few bucks more and know that I am supporting a local machine shop. If I were to buy only bc of price, folks like Will from Tactile&Turn, John from MaxMadCo , the folks from SaddlebackLeather or many of the artisan manufacturers that for example sell here on Massdrop may never get a chance to get established. Personally, I prefer to purchase once and be able to rely on the quality and content of the material bc it's fairly well established that Chinese products, for example, may hurt or even kill you ( e.g., using melamine for thickening of milk power or excessive formaldehyde in wood products while certifying that the product contained none) and frequently are well below the quality of a competitive product made state side . Although that may cost me more initially, but again, I only have to purchase once and on top of that support my community as a whole for the most part.
