Will this somehow fit a 14' thinkpad?

A deformed bag or an awkward placement is of no concern to me, the single strap carrying is what I'm after. I'm just looking for someone already with the bag so I can get a clear yes/no.
eXeP
I've got one. It'll fit like a slipper on Cinderella's ugly step sister.
FYI ... if you need the larger size, the XL is on sale for the next day-and-a-half at countycomm for $89 with free shipping!
Will this fit a volleyball?
molynerd
Deflated yes, inflated no. The best way I can describe the size is CD cases fit perfectly inside same with laying 12 once cans. I've never tried putting a 12 pack with the box but I have perfectly packed a 12 pack the same way without the box. If i remember I'll upload an image tonight.
ASpatha
Well better late then never I guess. Both bags are the same dimension with exception of length. A standard 12 pack with box dose fit.

Is this the REV 3 version?
mavphoenix
Anyone know??
mavphoenix
Still wondering 😐
Can't wait for the large!!
I'm trying to justify buying this! I have the XL one from the recent drop and it's great for my tripods or some microphone stands. Help me out - what can I use this smaller one for on a regular basis?
OakParkMusicGuy
this is my go outside bag.
first aid kit, water bottle, sweatshirt, battery pack, pen, candy bar, sunglasses, earplugs, respirator, gloves. the wide straps distribute load, but i don't carry a lot so it feels really good. easy to sling off when i get into a restaurant or swing in front of me if i'm in a car.
it carries the load so i don't have to carry stuff in my pockets.
Good day,I cant figure it out: the Volume of Sat-Small will be...?how many liters??cubes? Thank U.
memoris
I just grabbed a tape measure and checked mine. It's 20*5*5" external dimensions. That's a little over 8 liters converting to science units.
memoris
unlimited liters. i kept pouring water inside and it would never fill up.
Got this in black?
Too bad this is too small to accommodate a yoga mat... perhaps massdrop could add the longer version pf the same bag? I think they both sell for the same price on the manufacturer's site.
Since this is posted in the photography community I'd like to ask how people are using, or want to use, this bag with their photography gear? Is it just for tripods or will you store camera bodies and lenses too? I really like this form factor but I'm not sure how I'd protect my gear while hiking around with this bag.
Spudbar
Yeah I think they got lazy with the tagging on this drop.

I used this bag to carry my camera and things in Europe. Pretty much any sized camera body will fit nicely on the bottom of the bag, trouble is padding it out, I just used a fleece jacket between the screen of my d80 and the bottom of the bag and that was fine. Granted I had one camera and one lens, if you had more you might need to get creative separating your body from other lenses and tripod in the bag.

Why do so few listings for bags (on this and other sites) show the inside?
UltralightTraveler
because there's nothing inside.

If you need an organizer:

13.55" x 5.25"
Bag dimensions are: 20" x 6" x 6"

Does anyone know the size of the straps that have buckles? I'd be looking to upgrade the buckles to Austri-Alpin cobras right away (I can't resist). It looks like the main shoulder strap is 2" and the smaller one is 1"? I don't see dimensions on the county comm website either.

Patience as in doing it by hand? I mention it because your machine might not be able to get through the heavy fabric and strap. You need a large needle and a machine that can push it, or to do it by hand (get a thimble for extra oomph). If you sew a new loop around one end you won't be able to utilize the adjust-ability of that end. But theoretically you could just leave both ends as free straps and it would be double adjustable! I'm not sure how well that would work though. You could try it before you sew the loop shut.
If you decide to sew the loop again I would sew it around the black part of the buckle, leaving the adjustable part to move freely, just like it wasn't there.

Thanks for the help. Having a hard time visualizing it right now lol, but I'm sure it'll be easier to figure out once I get the bag and buckles in
Whats the carry weight limit?
Love this bag. There is a REV3 on the CountyComm website. My only wish is that it was produced in a BLACK and not just the OLIVE colour.
They are not selling the xl bag and on countycomm website, there is a 2017 version. I am not sure what to make of this.
This is an excellent use of a well made article originally made for something completely different. Would make an excellent day bag for hiking or traversing the city. Very nice and well done.
If it were abut bigger would make a good gym bag.

Thanks for letting me know. I have just asked for it to be re-dropped

What kind of stuff do you normally put inside a gym bag?
@Massdrop, is there anyway to get Coyote Tan added to this drop? I believe Maratac has sold them in that color in the past.
Recently got my hands on one of the gamecube keyboard controllers. Wish it would fit in this bag for when i travel with it lol

Got mine a few days ago. As a person who constantly takes buses to commute to the office my messenger bag was not cutting it. When running to catch a departing bus my bag, jumped, wiggled and sometimes threw my balance of, not the case with this one. Even though you carry it diagonally you do not feel like one side of your back is carrying the whole burden of the weight the bag stays put when you have to run to catch the bus or train, the material and construction feels quite sturdy. Everything I need on a daily basis can be stashed here... umbrella, sweater, shades, computer glasses, wallet, toothbrush, keys, phone, chargers... you get the idea you are covered for the day!
One final cool perk I was able to finally use my "Big trouble in little china" "Pork chop express" badge thanks to the Velcro section made for that purpose. Not only I like this bag I would give it as a gift any of my loved ones. Cheers from Costa Rica, Daniel
Has anyone used this for a Tenkara rod? I'm thinking of using it for my Teton which is 20" collapsed so it probably will be a tight fit.
I'm real tempted, but holding out for the XL version. I've hit the request button for the XL everywhere I could find it. Anyone know where I can find one for sale?

What type of cameras are you carrying with it? Will a Fuji XT1 and gorilla pod fit with a few more accessories?
Synnyster
Only small stuff, I carry a Ricoh GR and a Ricoh Theta in the side pockets and a tripod in the aerial sleeve leaving the main compartment empty.
I think you could easilly carry a gorrilapod in the long side pocket, an XT1 and two average lenses in cases in the main compartment.
