So, i got delivery of my SR-3 yesterday. Though i like it overall, i must admit that it is a bit of a disappointment, and i'll explain why. My other two watches are Seiko divers - the BFK and current generation black monster. The first comparison in which the SR-3 falls short of the Seikos is in overall fit and finish - the SR-3 has much more of a "tool watch" look and feel to it - a "straight off the machine" finish, and both bezel and crown don't have the silky smooth operation of the Seikos. Hand winding the SR-3 feels particularly rough. Like the case, the bracelet is also finished minimally - the link edges are relatively sharp - not sharp enough to cut the skin, but may very well wear a long sleeve via chafing in an active setting. The SR-3 with bracelet weighs in at 144 g, in comparison to the BFK and black monster at 199 g and 168 g, respectively (please note, these weights are with bracelet links removed to fit my wrist); the SR-3's light weight may not be a con for some folks, though some may prefer a bit more heft. Finally, the one greatest complaint I have for the SR-3 is the lume. The lume on the SR-3 is pretty much useless after five (5) minutes. That's right, 5 minutes! How CountyComm can say "triple applied C3 Super luminova" with a straight face is, well, just laughable. In conclusion, I'll say this: the SR-3 has a nice, minimalistic face, which is why I decided to buy one - but CountyComm has, unfortunately, applied the minimalist approach to their fit, finish, and quality control. Knowing what I know today, I wouldn't buy an SR-3.

J__VYeah, I would not think the bracelet would be that great for the price. Would look good on a ZULU or NATO strap for sure. As far as the lume, I notice most lume suffers when the markers are super white. I have a Sinn 756s that is super visible during the day, but the lume is not that impressive.
