Anyone have an opinion on this vs the Massdrop Brass AAA light? I am really a big fan of the Nichia lights now so this is probably out anyway but i LOVE the Massdrop brass light.

I got the black aluminum AAA and it's an amazingly useful gadget. Any benefit to acquiring the Ti version?

I don't have nasty skin allergies (except an allergy to certain soaps), but I got this Ti tool on the last drop. It's an amazingly sleek tool as much as it is useful and the Nichia LED is a dream in terms of color temperature.

Mario.PaulI was a skinflint at first and bought the brass version of the Lumintop flashlight. I ended up giving it to someone as a present.
I could feel the surface making my hand tingle ever-so-slightly from the moment I first held it, and things only got worse from there.
The ti version of the Lumintop doesn't have that effect, so I'm likely to buy the Maratac ti as well.
I love the way that brass and copper look. My palms, however, cringe at the way they feel.

Tell me about it. Looking at the pictures, I think it comes with a magnetic end cap, but it looks different than mine. The one here is much more compact, and I also noticed it comes with a white diffuser which did not come with mine.

TheCappyI just got mine and after some fiddling i discovered that it is a twist to on design. To Change modes you would twist it off and twist it on again.

Wow, cheaper on county comm right now ($59.50 w/free US shipping vs $60.49 shipped from mass drop). Why would anyone in the US buy this from mass drop...?
Also, I purchased this exact flashlight on sale from county comm for $38.50 plus shipping less than a month ago..

Cheaper in black on countycomm. More and more I'm realizing Massdrop isn't the cheapest place to get gear. Especially since you also have to wait such a long time sometimes to get your purchase. I have this flashlight in black and I honestly think its amazing. The size is insanely small. They make great gifts. They fit anywhere. The glow in the dark diffuser is amazing.

FowlerIn the image where it isn't on, you can see that little step on one end? That has an internal diameter that matches the head of the light. I have a maratac brass model myself. The light it outputs radiates throughout for a sort of 'candle' setting.
