Just wanted to advise you guys that I joined this drop and received a knife with serious side to side blade play. Just slight pressure to either side and it sounded like the grips were going to snap. I contacted Massdrop and they said the item is not defective and will not accept my return. This is terrible customer service from a loyal Massdrop customer.

Ares13FoxShoot, that sucks. Hopefully they can escalate your case and fix it. Either I got a unicorn or you got a turd, because mine is showing tight tolerances and built like a tank.

MinistrOfJustizYes it does suck. I am glad you received a quality product. I have already contacted Massdrop and they told me this does not qualify as a defective item. So they took my money but will not make this right. Terrible business practice on their end and I will never buy a thing from them again, and I will tell everyone I know to do the same.

Ares13FoxIf tightening the pivot screw doesn’t fix lateral play without harming the action, that’s clearly a defective issue and you deserve options for replacement or refund, your choice. I recommend filing a complaint with the better business bureau. While many of their prices are good, it’s hard to trust massdrop’s products when they don’t take care of their customers, and you certainly are not alone. Their business model is a bit wonky too.
