Idk if people will jump on this item since they can easily find the products being sold for cheaper on other websites. BladeHQ has the silver carbon fiber for 45 and the regular carbon fiber for 40. Knifecenter has the copper one for 15 and ebony for 35..... the copper one with logo for 25....Idk how anyone would call this a good deal. Maybe for customers outside of North America but for anybody living in North America I don't think anybody would consider this to be a good deal.

+ shipping is way faster through other vendors
God. No company worth its weight in gravel would use 420 for its blade steel. Even the chinese clone companies and amazon mallninja knives use higher quality steel
We've repeatedly been in touch with the vendor and they've informed us that they are still awaiting a new batch of units to ship to our warehouse to complete the group's order. We will keep checking in until everything is en route to us and turned around to each of you.
We understand that the additional wait time is undesirable. If you would prefer to cancel your order, please contact Community Support using the “Contact Support” button in your transactions page (http://massdrop.com/transactions).
You can expect an update from us on 6/29 or sooner if something comes up.

The group's bulk order arrived earlier to our warehouse in New Jersey and many of the individual packages have already shipped back out. However, upon taking inventory of everything received, our team was made aware of a backorder affecting a small handful of units. Rest assured, we've reached back out to the vendor to resolve this hiccup and expect to have the remaining units in our warehouse shortly.

Awaiting confirmation! We are still in contact with the vendor and just awaiting updated shipment estimates from them. We have a call scheduled first thing tomorrow morning and should get a bit more visibility in regards to when we can expect these in our warehouse.

Thanks again for joining this drop! We have submitted the group's order with the vendor for the Maserin Temperini Gentleman's Folders and they are working hard to prepare it for shipment.
As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 6/1.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 6/1.

Two-handed opening, no lock, 6cm blade - it doesn't get more legal than this in most countries, not to mention my own country where I could walk around with a claymore and it'd be perfectly legal. Yet MD still won't ship these internationally.

Aaaaaahhhhh, not the same Claymore!
Dose the balde lock when ist open ?
Personally I'd go for a Cold Steel Lucky One that's about to come out, similar Italian made slip joint with CF handle, pocket clip, screws instead of pins, and a CPM-S35VN blade for double the price.

DAMN! That is one nice, nice knife! I wanted to pick this one up, but I think I will hunt a Lucky One instead.... WOW......
If you want a simple folding knife the Victorinox excelsior alox is quite similar but it also has a small blade and half the price.

Sure, if way heavier means -3 grams. the Victorinox excelsior alox weighs only 21 grams. It is 5 mm shorter though. source: https://www.victorinox.com/global/en/Products/Swiss-Army-Knives/Medium-Pocket-Knives/Excelsior-Alox/p/0.6901.16

D'uh I never imagined the difference would be so small.... Never mind then...
I kinda like the design but 420 steel is a deal breaker for me...

Agreed, especially when they're not clear on what variants. For example, I'm ok with the 420HC from Buck. They do a decent job with that for lower-end knives.
But, when they just say "420", that usually means something like 420J2. Fine for a butter knife, but the edge retention will be very, very poor for anything you intend to keep sharp.

I fully agree with you, i have a few aus 8/8cr13mov blades and i feel like it dulls too quickly. So 420...
