I agree, this feels like a bad drop.
If i were a full draft kit for 8 players, yeah, i'd go for it. A local store does wacky pack drafts where we can bring our own, and I'd love to crack Masques and watching everyone else's faces to see if I pulled a Rishadan.

Good point Wizard37, I was thinking current prices, I came up with the same price ThisHereGuy did. It's not a good looking drop when you show the lower MSRP on a product that has a much higher secondary market value though.

Minus shipping, this is $2 less than Star City would charge you if they actually had the packs in stock.

They have the drop at $79.99 and the MSRP at $48, you think they got the prices reversed?

TheInfiniteMonkeyNo, the packs were cheaper back then. That was their MSRP. Packs of Arabian Nights MSRP is $1.49. If you find any for that price, BUY THEM.

The expected value from these packs is $13.14 at today's tcg mid prices. The only way you'll make you money back is if you happen to open a Port. Also, it takes 24 packs to draft an 8 man pod, so how does 9 packs constitute a draft set?
